Silences
Horizon
The permanence and metamorphosis of the horizon, where the sky meets the earth, the emptiness, the thickness of silence that arises from its presence. Unless the gaze looks beyond, contemplative, motionless, reaching into its absence.
"The invisible horizon beyond which the conscious eye could not penetrate was much farther away than the visible horizon. And all kinds of entities appeared in the visible regions accessible to consciousness. The sea, ships, clouds, peninsulas, lightning, the sun, the moon, myriads of stars. If seeing was the act of the eye encountering a living being, which is to say, the being and another being, then it must be the opposing mirrors of two beings. But seeing, much more than that, seeing went beyond being, borrowing the wings of birds."
